Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can (16 ounces) whole tomatoes
  • 2 medium stalks celery, sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained

Directions

Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic until meat is brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes (with liquid), celery, chili powder, salt, sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Heat to boiling. Cover and simmer 1 hour.

Stir in beans. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until hot, about 15 minutes.
